Palm Centro
Me and my wife got ourselves two palm cento’s from Verizon since they are trying to get rid off them anyway,
because Palm OS is officially dead.
But, we got ours for free with the “new every two” program.
I am really happy with it. The amount of freedom you get with Palm OS is overwhelming coming from Verizons blobware that they install on most of their devices.
And also Palm community is huuuge.. And there are some nice free goodies available:

Network adapter issue in Windows 7 Beta while running it in VMware Workstation 6.5.1
The solution is simple.
- Shut down your windows 7 virtual machine
- Open the corresponding vmx-file with your favorite text editor
- Add the following line at the end of the vmx-file: ethernet0.virtualDev = “e1000″
- Power on your windows 7 virtual machine
- The network adapter should be detected.
Now this may not work for everybody, but it worked for me.

2009
Well… 2009 is finally here, so that’s good.
2008 was a pretty good year for me:
- I keep enjoying my work;
- I have travelled to San-Francisco, CA for work training (that was awesome);
- Me and my wife travelled to Florida (in the spring), Chicago (in the summer) and then to Vegas (this winter);
- I have learned a ton of new things (which is the most enjoyable part of my work);
Yeah, that seems like a little bit, but it was really fun =)

It is all about sound effects

I have to say that in this day and age it has been really hard to come across a FREE application that blows your mind with usefulness and simplicity. But I have managed to stumble upon one of these.
If you are a game developer, a podcaster or an audio book creator.. Then this little program is for you.
Basically, it is a free and open source program that can generate random sound effects for you. And I have to tell you, it is pretty darn good. Small, simple and extremely useful.
All you need to do is to start it and start clicking Randomize button until you hear what you want. Then save the sound as a wav file and insert it in your other project that you are working on.
p.s. It is fun to just play with it too =)

work roller coaster
It has been a great summer.. Woah.. After I got my promotion at work at the begging of july, I started to work on a project that was challenging, yet interesting. And, naturally I did not really have much time. But I have to tell you, I have learned so many new things while researching things with regards to this project, it is awesome great excellent .. (I can’t really find a right word here, but you get the point.
What else.
I am finally happy with my blog set up, I basically like everything, but the top logo, which I will change as soon as I have time and dedication.
I went to San Francisco at the end of the summer, that was a blast. If you know me and you are my friend on facebook or vkontakte then you might have seen the pictures already.
Well, this is basically it for now. Just wanted to let everybody know that I am back, and I will start posting more. Soon…

If I ever have to choose a religion, I would choose this one.
Now, I have no idea how I have managed to go through life this far without knowing what it was all about. But after doing some reading on the internet, it does sounds like a “right” (imho) religion in general.
That’s it for today. Just decided to start posting on my blog again.
